Key Responsibilities
As a Houseperson, your primary duties will include:
- Maintaining exceptional cleanliness and organization throughout all guest rooms and public areas of the hotel
- Performing detailed cleaning tasks with meticulous attention to quality and consistency
- Ensuring all furnishings, fixtures, and surfaces meet luxury hospitality standards
- Restocking supplies and monitoring inventory levels in assigned areas
- Responding promptly to housekeeping requests and special cleaning needs
- Operating cleaning equipment and using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively
- Supporting the housekeeping team to maintain 24-hour operational readiness
- Identifying and reporting maintenance issues or damage to supervisory staff
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily cleaning schedules and guest expectations
- Adapting to changing priorities and maintaining flexibility in a round-the-clock hotel operation
Required Qualifications
To succeed in this Houseperson role, you should possess:
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality cleaning, or similar cleaning-focused positions
- Strong passion and commitment to maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards
- Physical capability to perform demanding housekeeping duties, including standing, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy items for extended periods
- Excellent attention to detail with ability to spot imperfections others might miss
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed by 24-hour operations
- Reliability and strong work ethic with consistent attendance
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely
- Basic understanding of proper cleaning techniques and chemical handling
Preferred Qualifications

- Certification in hospitality cleaning or housekeeping standards
